Mass protests for abortion decriminalization took place in Poland after the Sejm passed two bills
On October 22, on the sixth anniversary of the Constitutional Court's abortion ruling, actions under the slogan 'Red Card for Abortions' took place in 26 Polish cities and in London. Organizers demand full decriminalization of abortion and legalization of termination of pregnancy up to the 12th week, calling the two bills passed by the Sejm insufficient. Both documents, according to activists and media expectations, may be vetoed by President Karol Nawrocki.
