Attack on a car in Voznesenovka
One civilian was killed and another was wounded when a drone attacked a car in the Belgorod region. According to the regional operational headquarters, the strike took place early in the morning on October 25 in the village of Voznesenovka in the Shebekino district. The operational headquarters reported the circumstances of the incident on its MAX channel, as reported by Life.ru.
Condition of the victims
The victim who died was a man. The second casualty, with shrapnel wounds to the abdomen, chest and arms, was taken to the Shebekino central district hospital, where doctors are providing him with the necessary care. After that, he is planned to be transferred to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod for further treatment.
Attacks the day before
The Belgorod region was also hit by drone attacks the day before. As Life.ru reported, on October 24 a civilian was killed in the village of Zamositye in the Graivoron district. That same day, a woman was wounded in Blizhnyaya Igumenka, and a man was injured in Shebekino after a strike on a passenger car. The outlet had earlier also reported three people wounded as a result of drone attacks on the Borisovka, Shebekino and Graivoron districts: in particular, on the road between Striguny and Novoalexandrovka a drone attacked a car, and in the village of Belyanka a drone detonated on the grounds of a private house.
Context
Information about the attacks comes from the regional operational headquarters and Life.ru publications; there is no independent confirmation or details about the type of drones or the circumstances of the strike in the available materials. Editorially, it is notable that over two days — October 24 and 25 — at least two civilians were killed and at least six people were injured in several districts of the region, according to the sources, with cars being targeted in a number of cases. For residents of border areas, this means a continuing risk when traveling on roads, and for the healthcare system, an additional burden on district hospitals, as evidenced by the already planned transfer of the wounded man to Belgorod.
