Rare pink diamond 'Grand Condé' displayed in France for the first time in 100 years after 1926 theft
The nine-carat pear-shaped pink diamond 'Grand Condé' is shown at the Condé Museum in Chantilly for the first time since its theft in October 1926, when the stone was hidden in an apple and found after a maid bit into it. The exhibition runs until January 3.
