Fall from an amusement ride in Samara
In Samara, a 76-year-old pensioner fell from the Ferris wheel in Gagarin Park while trying to get onto the ride without a ticket. Citing the Telegram channel 112, Gazeta.Ru reports. As a result of the fall, the woman suffered fractures of her pelvis, ribs and hip, and she was taken to hospital.
Similar incidents involving the same person
The outlet links this case to two previous incidents involving the same woman. At the end of February, according to reports, she managed to sneak aboard a plane flying from New York to Italy without a ticket or any documents: somehow she got past security and screening, hid in the toilet, where a flight attendant found her, and then began wandering around the cabin. By the time the crew realized there was an unauthorized person on board, the plane was already over the Atlantic Ocean, so the flight was allowed to continue. The flight attendants reported the incident to Milan airport; the Russian woman was detained there. She later returned to New York with an electronic ankle bracelet, but, as noted, she tried to remove it and leave for Canada.
Third incident in a year
Even earlier, according to the outlet, the woman was flung off a 'whirligig' ride at an amusement park. Thus, the incident in Samara became the third such episode involving her that Gazeta.Ru had written about this year. The publication gives no details on how exactly the pensioner ended up on the Ferris wheel without a ticket or what exactly led to the fall.
