Cruz on life in Madrid
Actress Penélope Cruz explained why she does not want to raise her children in Hollywood. According to her, in Madrid she and her husband Javier Bardem feel much more comfortable — and so do the children. Spain, the actress noted, allows the family to keep their privacy. “Our families, childhood and youth friends live there. You know, it is much easier to lead a normal life that way,” the publication quotes her as saying The Perferct.
The couple's recent public appearances
In September, paparazzi photographed Cruz and Bardem as they were leaving the luxurious Excelsior Venice Lido Resort hotel in Venice: the actress wore a midi dress with a plunging neckline and floral print, black heeled shoes and sunglasses, while Bardem wore a beige polo shirt, trousers and sneakers. Before that, the couple appeared at the premiere of the film “The Bunker” as part of the Venice Film Festival. Earlier, Cruz had also appeared in public in a dress with a plunging neckline in floral colors.
