Nighttime attack on six districts

On the night of November 7, air defense forces destroyed more than 50 drones over Rostov Region. The attack affected six municipal districts: Kasharsky, Chertkovsky, Millerovsky, Tarasovsky, Sholokhovsky and Verkhnedonskoy. This was reported by the region's governor, Yuri Slyusar on his Telegram channel.

Damage on the ground

Consequences of falling debris were recorded in the khutor of Kayukovka in Tarasovsky district: there, the glazing of a residential house was damaged. According to the governor, no residents were injured. Despite the repelled raid, the drone danger regime remains in effect in the region. 'Be careful! Leave open street areas, go indoors, do not approach windows!' Slyusar warned.

Comparison with the previous night

The scale of the attack increased noticeably compared to the previous night: on November 6, according to Life.ru, over the region more than 15 drones were destroyed, and the air threat was repelled then in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog and seven districts of the region. Thus, the number of downed drones in a single night more than tripled, although the geography of the raid shifted: this time six northern and western districts of the region were affected, with no mention of Rostov-on-Don or Taganrog. Separately, Life.ru reported that in Saratov Region, during the nighttime attack, drones, according to governor Roman Busargin, attacked civilian infrastructure facilities and there are casualties; information about the threat, according to him, was provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
