Nighttime attack on seven districts
Governor of Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev said in the Max messenger that on the night of November 7, air defenses detected and destroyed 27 unmanned aerial vehicles over seven districts of the region. According to him, citing preliminary data, no one was hurt and there was no damage. The governor's statement was published by Gazeta.Ru.
Scale across the country and earlier consequences
The Russian Defense Ministry, according to the same publication, stated that from 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on November 6 to 8:00 a.m. Moscow time on November 7, 411 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over Russia — including over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Saratov, Samara, and Tula regions, Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. The governor's figure (27) applies only to Voronezh Region and does not contradict the nationwide figure, but complements it. Meanwhile, earlier — on October 31 — it was reported that in the region debris of downed drones had already damaged residential buildings and cars, so the absence of damage on the night of November 7 marks a change compared with previous episodes.
