The second victim was a 63-year-old man who was fishing on the Serez River near the village of Antropovo in the Nazarovsky district. Rescuers from the Sharypovo unit headed there; divers will recover the deceased from the water.
A series of incidents on thin ice
These are not the first such incidents in recent months: in May, there was a report of a person falling through the ice, and in October, of a young man who drowned after falling through the ice on a snowmobile in Siberia.
