Weekly results according to the Ministry of Defense
In its summary for the period from October 31 to November 6, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces carried out one massive strike and 11 group strikes on targets in Ukraine over the week. This was reported by Life.ru and Gazeta.Ru citing the ministry.
Declared targets
In its list of targets hit, the ministry named Ukrainian military industry enterprises, logistics centers, and energy and transport infrastructure facilities which, according to the Russian side, were used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also listed were workshops and storage sites for cruise missiles, ground-based robotic systems and drones, ammunition depots, and temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries.
Dry cargo ships and comparison with the previous week
Gazeta.Ru separately cites the Ministry of Defense's statement about the destruction over the week of 14 dry cargo ships delivering weapons, military equipment and dual-use products to Ukraine for the needs of the Ukrainian army. This is an element absent from Life.ru's retelling. The change in statistics between summaries is also telling: a week earlier, according to the same ministry, two massive strikes and nine group strikes were reported (October 24–30), whereas now it is one massive strike and 11 group strikes. The composition of the declared targets is practically the same. All the figures cited are data from the Russian side; the publications contain no independent confirmation of the scale of the strikes.
