Two airstrikes according to the Ministry of Defense
Russia's Ministry of Defense reported on Friday, November 6, two airstrikes on facilities that, according to the ministry, were used by Ukrainian formations. As reported by Life.ru citing the military ministry, in the Sumy region an electrical substation near Sumy was struck, and in the Zaporizhzhia region — a temporary deployment point of a unit of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the settlement of Dmytriv.
Munitions used
To strike the energy facility, according to the Ministry of Defense, Aerospace Forces crews used FAB-500 high-explosive aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules (UMPK), which allow the flight trajectory to be corrected after release. A more powerful FAB-3000 bomb, also with a UMPK module, was used against the brigade's deployment point. The ministry stated that in both cases the 'target was destroyed.' The Ministry of Defense's report of two strikes in different regions is also carried by Gazeta.Ru citing TASS.
What remains unknown
The published statement provides no details on the extent of the damage, possible losses on the Ukrainian side, or the consequences for the substation's operation. The claims that the targets were hit come from one side of the conflict and are not confirmed by independent data in available publications.
