The key facts
- No precipitation is expected on Saturday, with daytime temperatures around 0 °C and icy roads at night.

A weekend without precipitation, but with icy roads
Over the coming weekend, precipitation will end in the Moscow region — forecasters expect neither rain nor snow. At the same time, icy conditions will persist on the roads at night: temperatures will remain slightly below zero, while daytime temperatures on Saturday will be around 0 °C. RT was told this by Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecast center.
Warming from Sunday
According to Shuvalov, from Sunday, November 8, air flows in the region will change, which will make nights slightly warmer — from 0 to +2 °C, while during the day the air will warm up to +2…+4 °C. In his assessment, the next week will begin with roughly the same weather, accompanied by winds of 3–8 m/s.
When to expect snow cover
Thus, this weekend will pass with practically no snow, which is consistent with the longer-term forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center. The agency's leading meteorologist Lyudmila Parshina previously stated that the formation of noticeable snow cover in Moscow is expected in the second half of November and closer to the end of the month; in the first half of the month only brief snowfalls are possible, and there will be no lasting snow cover in the near future.
