Burial site has been determined

The urn with the ashes of Honored Artist of the RSFSR Yekaterina Raikina is planned to be buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow — in the grave of her parents: satirist Arkady Raikin and actress Rufina Raikina-Ioffe. This was reported to TASS by a source from the artist's circle. “It is planned that the urn with the ashes will be buried in the grave of Yekaterina's parents at the Novodevichy Cemetery,” the agency quoted the source as saying.

Farewell ceremony on November 6

Earlier, Life.ru reported that Yekaterina Raikina would be cremated after the farewell ceremony on November 6. According to the artist's relatives, the memorial event will take place at the Raikin School, followed by a funeral service at the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” on Ordynka. Thus, the clarification about the future burial site completes the previously announced farewell plan: from the ceremony at the theater school and the funeral service — to cremation and burial at the Novodevichy Cemetery.
