A warm Friday without precipitation across most of the country

On Friday, November 6, gradual warming is expected in Uzbekistan: according to the Uzhydromet forecast, daytime temperatures will rise to 17–28 degrees, with 5–15 degrees above zero at night, and rain in some places. This is reported by Daryo.uz citing the forecast of the hydrometeorological service.

The picture by region

In Tashkent, variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected, with an easterly wind of 3–8 m/s, 10–12 degrees at night and 24–26 degrees above zero during the day. In Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, it will be mostly dry, with rain possible only in places across Karakalpakstan; in the north of the republic, temperatures will range from 1 degree of frost to 2 degrees above zero at night, and 15–20 degrees during the day. In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, as well as in the Tashkent and Syrdarya regions, no precipitation is expected: 22–28 degrees during the day. In the Jizzakh and Samarkand regions, as well as in the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, rain is possible in places in the afternoon, with daytime temperatures of 22–28 degrees. In the Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions, it will be dry, with daytime temperatures of 17–22 degrees — the coolest lowland readings in the country.

Mountain areas: snow, fog and the threat of mudflows

In the foothill and mountain areas of the republic, rain is forecast in places, turning into snow at high altitudes, with fog possible. In addition, Uzhydromet does not rule out mudflows and floods: 2–7 degrees at night and 13–18 degrees above zero during the day. This is the only zone with a warning about hazardous phenomena in the Friday forecast — residents and travelers in mountainous areas should take into account the risk of mudflow and flood situations.
