Explosions and versions of the targets

On the night of November 5, a series of explosions occurred in Odesa Oblast — reports of them came in from midnight until morning. According to preliminary data, one of the strikes hit Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. This is reported by Gazeta.Ru citing a comment by Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground, given to the outlet aif.ru.

What were named as the likely targets

Lebedev suggestedthat the targets of the strikes were facilities connected with military logistics: warehouses, locations of cargo vehicles, railway infrastructure, military units, energy facilities and bridges. Among the possible targets he also mentioned training grounds near Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and the village of Mayaky. This is an assessment from an underground source, not a confirmed list of targets.

What the regional authorities confirmed

Head of the Odesa Regional Administration Oleh Kiper statedthat as a result of the attack, a distribution terminal of a logistics company was damaged: the building sustained significant destruction, and a truck trailer caught fire. No information about casualties was received. Thus, at this point the damage to one logistics facility has been confirmed, while the other named targets remain only assumptions. Earlier, according to the same outlet, Russian troops hit an enterprise in Odesa Oblast.
