The key facts
- A buyer of a car from China found a cat inside that escaped twice during attempts to catch it
- The animal was retrieved and given a new home
- Earlier, similar cases were reported in the Moscow region and Krasnodar
A cat arrived along with the car
A buyer of a Chinese-made car in Russia received an unexpected 'passenger' along with the vehicle — a live cat hiding inside. This was reported by the Telegram channel 'What's Up, Moscow?', and footage of the moment the animal was discovered was published by Gazeta.Ru.
How events unfolded
The video shows a man discovering the cat: the animal refused to come out of the car. According to the report, attempts were made to catch the cat twice, but each time it escaped and found a new hiding place. In the end, the pet was finally retrieved and given a new home. The fate of the car itself is not specified.
Similar cases earlier
This is not the only such incident in recent weeks. In the Moscow region, employees of a car service center found kittens under the hood of an electric car: according to the source, the owner was unaware of them and drove with them from Solntsevo Park to a service center in Novo-Peredelkino. And in Krasnodar, a cat named Vasily was found — he had escaped from his carrier while luggage was being loaded for a flight to Batumi and spent a month at the airport — staff discovered him after hearing his meowing.
