Three apartments and a million dollars

Stand-up comedian Alexander Nezlobin, designated a foreign agent in Russia and living in the United States since 2022, owns three apartments with a combined current value of approximately $1.06 million. This data comes from the Telegram channel SHOT, which is cited by Life.ru and Gazeta.Ru. The properties are located in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, and the total taxes paid over the years of ownership, according to SHOT's calculations, have approached $25 thousand.

The most expensive purchase — made with a mortgage

The largest deal was an apartment of 114 square meters in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles: in May 2025, Nezlobin purchased it together with his wife Alina for $825 thousand, taking out a $660 thousand mortgage. Life.ru previously described the loan terms in detail — 30 years at 6.5% annual interest with a $165 thousand down payment; factoring in mortgage payments, insurance, homeowners association fees and taxes, the monthly costs of the apartment were estimated at about $5.5 thousand. The apartment has two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace and a bar, a separate laundry room and a kitchen with granite countertops, as well as two parking spaces. The tax for the first year of ownership was about $10.3 thousand.

Las Vegas: one apartment went up in value, another went down

Two earlier purchases are located in Las Vegas. The comedian bought the first apartment in 2017 for about $85 thousand; its value has since risen to $154 thousand, and taxes over the entire period of ownership amounted to nearly $10 thousand. He acquired the second one, measuring more than 60 square meters in a gated complex in the west of the city, in 2021 for $110 thousand — according to Gazeta.Ru, the area is characterized by a relatively high crime rate. This apartment, by contrast, has dropped in value to $78 thousand, and the annual tax on it is about $900.

What else is known

The publications differ on one detail: Life.ru attributes the nearly $10 thousand in taxes to the total payments for owning the first Las Vegas apartment since 2017, whereas Gazeta.Ru calls $1.3 thousand its annual tax. Continuing to perform stand-up in the United States, Nezlobin was added to Russia's Ministry of Justice registry of foreign agents in August 2026. Earlier, as Gazeta.Ru notes, it was reported that the comedian owns half of a Russian production company; Life.ru wrote about the liquidation of his remaining business back home.
