What happened

A resident of Krasnodar accused doctors of an error that led to the removal of both of her breasts. She shared this on social media, reports Gazeta.Ru. According to her, at the end of 2022 she felt weak and underwent an examination at the charitable clinic 'Belaya Roza' (White Rose). In September 2023 she had surgery and eight courses of chemotherapy, and in November of the same year doctors announced remission.

Timeline according to the patient

The patient decided to additionally get an ultrasound from an independent specialist: he found a growth in the same place. At the 'Yekaterininskaya' clinic, the woman was, according to her account, once again assured there was no cause for concern, but a repeat examination in July 2024 again showed a tumor. In June 2026 she was diagnosed with a recurrence, and, fearing the return of the disease, she agreed to the complete removal of both breasts.

The essence of the complaint and the current situation

'It turned out that my new tumor, diagnosed in 2026, was nothing other than a residual tumor that was not removed due to a medical error in September 2023,' the city resident noted. According to her, the doctors admitted that the tumor was not a recurrence, but the medical records state otherwise. The woman has now been granted a permanent Group II disability. She sought help from lawyers and is pushing for an investigation into the medical staff's actions. The outlet also recalls a similar case: earlier, a Crimean woman accused doctors of causing her daughter's disability during childbirth. The information presented consists of the patient's own claims; the publication does not report the results of any investigation or the position of the medical institutions.
