What was found in the abandoned car
In the car of the Usoltsev family, who went missing in Krasnoyarsk Krai in the autumn of 2025, the only document found was Irina Usoltseva's driver's license. TASS was told this by Yana Syrymbetova, deputy head of the first department for investigating especially important cases of the regional Investigative Committee. According to her, the family's Russian and foreign passports, as well as the child's birth certificate, were found at the family's home. While examining the car left at the foot of the Kuturchinsky Belogorye, investigators also found 300,000 rubles. Details are reported by Life.ru.
Progress of the investigation
Sergey and Irina Usoltsev, together with their five-year-old daughter Arina, went missing in September 2025 during a short tourist hike; their whereabouts have not been established since then. As part of the criminal case, more than 150 people have been questioned — relatives and acquaintances of the missing, as well as residents of settlements near the search area. The investigation still considers an accident to be the main version, but other circumstances of the disappearance are not being ruled out.
The sect version has not been confirmed
Earlier, Life.ru reported, citing the regional Investigative Committee, that Sergey and Irina's affiliation with religious organizations has not been established, and investigators found no signs of closed religious communities existing in the Kuturchinsky Belogorye area. The new information about the documents adds to this picture: the passports and the child's birth certificate were left at home, which does not fit the theories of a pre-planned disappearance, although the investigation has not yet made final conclusions.
