The figure for all pensioners and possible supplements
Rosstat, according to the publication, estimates the average pension of working and non-working Russians in September at 25,500 rubles — an increase of 8.3%. The difference from the Social Fund's figure is explained by the fact that the agencies calculate the indicators for different categories of recipients.
Who is entitled to supplements
Earlier, as Gazeta.Ru recalled, some pensioners are entitled to a 25% increase in the fixed part of payments with at least 30 years of rural work experience. Supplements are also provided for work in the North and for supporting incapacitated relatives: in 2026 the basic supplement for one dependent is 3,194.90 rubles per month, with a maximum of three people counted. Upon the birth of a child, the increase is possible automatically; in other cases, an application and documents are usually required. The publication also reported how to save up for a 'wealthy' pension.
