Results of the auction for the second property
An auction in Kyiv has determined the buyer of the second apartment of Russian designer and blogger Artemy Lebedev, which was seized by decision of a Ukrainian court. According to Life.ru, citing the State Property Fund of Ukraine,, the property fetched 8.01 million hryvnias — about $175,700. Two bidders took part in the auction; the starting price was around 7.07 million hryvnias, meaning it rose by roughly 13% during the auction.
What exactly was sold
The apartment, with an area of 193.2 square meters, is located on Saksahanskoho Street in Kyiv's historic center and occupies two levels of the top floor of a six-story building. It has three rooms, studies, a kitchen, two bathrooms, three balconies and utility rooms. The winning bidder must pay for the purchase within 25 business days after the protocol is drawn up and settle any utility debt before signing the sale agreement.
Context of the seizure and the total for both apartments
Lebedev has been under Ukrainian sanctions since 2022, and in July 2023 the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine ordered that his property be forfeited to the state, including two apartments in central Kyiv. Both properties were put up for auction in the summer of 2026, but initially a buyer was found for only one of them — now a winner has been determined for the second as well. According to Life.ru, the first apartment, with an area of about 138 square meters near the Golden Gate, was bought for $301,000 by the Ukrainian drone manufacturer 'General Cherry'; company representatives said the purchase was a matter of principle for them. Thus, in total, the state received roughly $476,000 for the two lots, according to the current exchange-rate estimates given in the publications themselves.
