Fire in Sapronovo: evacuation and casualties

On the night of October 28, a fire broke out in a residential complex in the Central quarter of the village of Sapronovo in the Moscow region: an apartment on the 10th floor caught fire. This was reported by Life.ru, citing the SHOT Telegram channel and eyewitnesses. According to them, people were calling for help from the windows. The regional press service of the Emergency Ministry reported that 65 people were evacuated from the building, including 13 children; three adults and two children were rescued.

Casualties and the work of emergency services

At least three people were injured — reportedly, from the burning apartment. Local residents claim that a woman rescued from the fire was resuscitated for at least 30 minutes right on the lawn near the entrance before being taken away by ambulance. The fire has been contained, but emergency services continued working at the scene. The exact cause of the fire is not yet known.

Problem with emergency vehicle access

Neighbors of the victims said that due to the large number of parked cars, fire trucks and ambulances could not reach the source of the fire. According to local residents, no road signs have been installed in the courtyards and spontaneous parking is not controlled, which is why emergency services cannot quickly reach the scene of incidents. These claims remain eyewitness accounts for now and have not been officially confirmed.
