What happened
On October 23 51 children from three kindergartens in Fergana were taken to hospital with complaints of fever, abdominal pain, lethargy, nausea and diarrhea. Kun.uz reports this citing its own observations and interviews. More than 20 children continue treatment at the regional infectious diseases hospital.
Suspected product
According to the outlet, meals at the kindergartens of schools No. 47, No. 2 and No. 7 are prepared on site, and dairy products were delivered to all three institutions at the same time by the Chorvador farm — it is the consumption of these products that is suspected as the cause of the poisoning. Umida Sharipova, the grandmother of one of the hospitalized children, told the journalist that the child came home from kindergarten lethargic, developed a fever by evening, had diarrhea at least eight times during the night, and on the first day the stool contained blood. According to her, that day the children were given cabbage soup, shavla and a dairy product at the kindergarten.
Condition of the children

According to him, the condition of all patients is satisfactory: 31 children have already been discharged home, 20 continue treatment, there are no severe cases, and no one was admitted to intensive care. The causes of the incident and the results of inspections are not given in the publications.
