Methane Explosion at a Coal Mine in Turkey: People Killed, Injured Reported
On October 23, a methane explosion occurred at a private coal mine in the Kilimli district of Zonguldak province in northwestern Turkey. According to Zamon.uz citing TRT Haber, three people were killed and five hospitalized. Euronews reported two dead and one miner trapped underground, with whom contact has been established. An investigation has been launched.
