Zipline raises $1.5 billion at a $21.5 billion valuation and agrees with Walmart on 300 drone delivery sites
Startup Zipline raised $1.5 billion led by Paradigm, WCM Investment Management and Layer Global, reaching a valuation of $21.5 billion. Walmart is expanding the partnership: 300 drone delivery sites are planned in the US instead of the 21 currently active. The funds will go toward expanding manufacturing and building a nationwide network.
