Gas supply will be temporarily cut off in Yunusabad district of Tashkent on October 20 due to pipeline repairs

The Hududgaz Poytaxt branch reported a temporary gas supply shutdown on October 20, 2026, from 09:00 to 18:00 in several mahallas of Yunusabad district of Tashkent. The reason is repairs to an underground medium-pressure gas pipeline with a diameter of 530 mm on Iftikhor street. 32 multi-story buildings, 120 households, and houses No. 1-A and No. 121–170 on Iftikhor street will be left without gas. Supply will be restored in stages after the work is completed.

Drinking water to be temporarily shut off on several streets of Yunusabad district in Tashkent on October 19–20

From 09:00 on October 19 to 15:00 on October 20, drinking water supply will be suspended in Yunusabad district of Tashkent due to scheduled preventive and repair works on the water supply networks as part of preparations for the autumn-winter season. Affected streets include Sohibkor, Oktepa, Ukituvchilar, Chinobod, Yangishahar, Otchopar, Obiravon, as well as the Manzara and High Town City residential areas and the Hayot clinic. Hot water interruptions are possible; drinking water will be delivered by special transport.

In Tashkent, a 19-year-old Toyota driver crashed into a Tracker 2 on the bridge over A. Donish street

On October 12, at around 23:10, in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, on the bridge over A. Donish street, a Toyota driver born in 2007, according to preliminary data, lost control and, failing to keep a safe distance, collided with a Tracker 2 driven by a man born in 1980. There were no injuries, and an investigation is underway.
