Australia imposes sanctions on two North Korean companies and two 'financial facilitators'
Canberra sanctioned two DPRK companies and two individuals — Sim Hyon Sop and Yu Phyong Un — for 'financing' Pyongyang's unlawful weapons programs. According to Foreign Minister Penny Wong, the sanctions were imposed based on the findings of the Multilateral Sanctions Monitoring Panel and coordinated with international partners, including the EU.
