US Court Ordered State Department to Resume Green Card Lottery DV-2027 Registration
On October 14, 2026, the federal court of the Southern District of California granted the lawsuit of the firm Red Eagle Law against Secretary of State Marco Rubio and ordered the State Department to hold the DV-2027 lottery registration: begin no later than November 1, accept entries for 30 days, and notify selected participants by December 3. Registration was suspended after Trump's decision in December 2025 following the shooting at Brown University.
