Venezuelan Opposition Announces Nationwide Protests on October 22 to Secure the Return of María Corina Machado
The Vente Venezuela party announced a mobilization for October 22 in all 23 states demanding the safe return of its leader and 2025 Nobel Peace Prize laureate María Corina Machado. The party also demanded a date for presidential elections, the release of political prisoners, and the lifting of bans on opposition figures.
