Case opened in Perm Krai over desecration of monument to SVO soldiers in Berezniki

The Investigative Committee of Russia for Perm Krai is investigating a criminal case under Article 243.4 of the Criminal Code after an offensive inscription appeared on the stele of a memorial to SVO participants in Berezniki. Alexander Bastrykin ordered the head of the regional directorate, Denis Golovkin, to personally report on the progress of the case. Earlier, a case was opened in the region over damage to the grave of an SVO participant in the settlement of Ugleuralsky.

In Bălți, Vandals Tore a Bas-Relief Off a Monument to Soviet Soldiers

Unknown perpetrators damaged a monument to Soviet servicemen in Bălți in northern Moldova, tearing off a bas-relief depicting a soldier. This was reported by Alexei Petrovich, head of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots. According to him, this is already the second case of vandalism against military monuments in the city.
