US Embassy warned of threat of mass casualties at the Tsaritsyno museum-reserve in Moscow
On October 31, 2026, the US Embassy in Moscow reported a “credible threat of an event with mass casualties” at the Tsaritsyno museum-reserve. The FSB confirmed that the American side had passed on information about a planned terrorist attack. The museum, where concerts had been scheduled, was later closed “for technical reasons”.
