Uzbekistan plans to double uranium production by 2030 — to 15 thousand tonnes
On 5 November, Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the 2026 plans of Navoiuran and the Uzbek Combine of Technological Metals. Uranium production is to be increased from 7.5 thousand tonnes to 15 thousand tonnes by 2030, and explored reserves to 200 thousand tonnes. Tasks were also set for 16 types of critical metals and deep tungsten processing.
