Ministry of Labor proposes, from 2027, to take bank account turnover into account when granting the unified benefit
Russia's Ministry of Labor has put forward for public discussion a draft under which, from April 1, 2027, the movement of funds across bank accounts will become one of the criteria for granting the unified child benefit. Deposits must not exceed twice the family's annual income; certain credits will be excluded from the calculation. A minimum annual income at the level of 10 times the minimum wage is also proposed, with a number of exceptions.
