SFR reveals the size of compensation for northern pensioners for travel to vacation destinations
Over the first nine months of 2026, the Social Fund of Russia reimbursed 161,748 Far North pensioners for travel expenses to and from their vacation destinations, totaling more than 3.5 billion rubles. The average payment was 21.7 thousand rubles. The compensation is available to non-working recipients of the old-age or disability insurance pension once every two years.
