Nigerian President Tinubu officially launches re-election campaign
Nigerian President Bola Tinubu announced the start of his campaign for a second term at a rally in Kaduna State. The election will be held in January 2027. The campaign will take place against the backdrop of a cost-of-living crisis caused in part by the removal of fuel subsidies, as well as security problems.
