Tashkent Metro refutes imminent launch of five-car trains and names deadline for converting 80% of its fleet
The Tashkent Metro has stated that reports of five-car trains being introduced by November 20 do not correspond to reality. According to the official concept, 54 trains — 80% of the fleet — are planned to be converted to five cars by September 2027. Reserve trains are being brought in to reduce intervals.
