Reconstruction begins on Mirabad Street in Tashkent: terraces, barrier-free environment, and sidewalk expansion
District governor Anvar Sayfutdinov presented the Mirabad Street reconstruction project near the Mirabad Market at a public hearing. The first phase focuses on the area near building No. 39A, introducing new business terraces under public-private partnership, widening sidewalks by relocating the bike lane, and enhancing green spaces with trees, shrubs, lighting, and safety features. The project aims to improve pedestrian accessibility, support local businesses, and create a more organized urban environment. Future stages will extend reconstruction toward the Grand Mir Hotel roundabout, with improvements also planned for the Mirabad Avenue residential complex area.
