Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his congratulation on Uzbek Language Day, outlined tasks for developing the state language

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 21 congratulated the people on Uzbek Language Day. In his congratulation he addressed issues of the quality of education, clarity of official documents, the development of science and terminology in the Uzbek language, the use of the language in the digital environment, and the role of artificial intelligence. Also on this day, according to Gazeta.uz, the president signed a law on improving the Uzbek alphabet based on the Latin script.

Dissertation on the Role of Media in Implementing the State Language Law Defended at the University of Journalism of Uzbekistan

As part of State Language Week, a PhD dissertation by Shakhobiddin Musayev on the principles of media activity in implementing the law 'On the State Language' was defended at UzJMCU. The work analyzed the role of media in language policy and journalists' responsibility, and developed recommendations for raising the prestige of the Uzbek language.
