Britain tightens tax oversight of billionaires and sovereign funds
After Chancellor John Healey's budget, HMRC will assign a personal manager to each of the more than 200 identified billionaires, and sovereign funds' rental income from real estate will be taxed at 15%. Experts warn of an intensifying outflow of the wealthy from the country.
