Glucksmann becomes the Socialists' candidate for France's 2027 election, but young voters remain with Mélenchon
Raphaël Glucksmann won the first round of the French Socialist Party's primary with 66% of the vote and will run in the 2027 presidential election. After his victory he was showered with flour, which sharpened the question of relations with Jean-Luc Mélenchon. Polls give Glucksmann 10–11%, while Mélenchon stands at 18% and 41% among voters under 25.
