Ukrainian national Kuznetsov refused to testify in the Nord Stream case, citing military secrecy
Sergei Kuznetsov, accused of organizing the sabotage of Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2, refused to give oral testimony in the Hamburg court. His Italian lawyer Nicola Canestrini explained this by fear of criminal prosecution in Ukraine for disclosing military secrets and intends to seek dismissal of the case.
