Russian Security Council called the situation in the country stable based on the results of the first nine months of 2026
The staff of the Security Council of the Russian Federation assessed the operational situation in Russia as stable after analyzing crime data for January–September 2026. According to the MVD, the total number of registered crimes fell by 16.3%, and grave crimes by 21.7%. At the same time, the dynamics of individual indicators, including juvenile crime, remain uneven.
