From November 1, private cameras in Uzbekistan will start recording drivers without seat belts
Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 596 of October 29, 2026 allows entrepreneurs to record seat belt violations with cameras. Technical requirements for such systems have been established. The media remind that the fine for an unfastened passenger has still not been introduced, and a seat belt in the back seats remains merely a recommendation.
