Fines at one school in the London borough of Brent exceeded £1 million in two years
The council of the London borough of Brent has issued £1.15 million in fines under the School Street scheme outside Manor School in Kensal Rise since November 2024. A local councillor believes the signs are poorly visible and that the scheme operates mainly for revenue; the authorities respond that the signs meet standards but will install additional ones.
