Salesforce acquires defense startup Rune Technologies for $375 million
Salesforce has agreed to acquire Rune Technologies — a developer of AI software for US military logistics — for $375 million in cash and stock. The deal strengthens the Missionforce unit, which grew 80% over the year and secured a 10-year, $5.6 billion contract with the US Army.
