Anthropic warned in SEC filings of its proximity to recursive AI self-improvement
In an updated S-1A filing to the SEC, Anthropic said that, by its internal assessments, it may «immediately» reach its own definition of «dramatically accelerated progress enabled by AI», although no current model has yet crossed the threshold. The company ties the risk to using AI in its own research and pledges to maintain human oversight.
