At a meeting with the government on November 5, Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Olympic Committee should continue to defend the interests of Russian athletes on the international stage. According to him, the IOC, individual federations and CAS are already making decisions in favor of Russians, but certain Western countries maintain restrictions. The president announced a separate discussion of the topic.
