CAS overturns the suspension of the Russian ice hockey team: reaction from the IIHF and Ukraine
The Court of Arbitration for Sport on October 30 fully upheld the appeal of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and overturned the IIHF's suspension decision. The international federation said it would assess the consequences of the ruling, while the head of the Ice Hockey Federation of Ukraine spoke out against the Russian team's return.
