Member of the Public Chamber proposed allowing early retirement in order to help with grandchildren
Pavel Pozhigaylo, deputy chairman of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation commission on demography, family protection, children and traditional family values, proposed giving grandparents the opportunity to retire earlier in order to help young families raise children. He also supported older generations' access to schoolchildren's electronic gradebooks. The Ministry of Education intends to take the proposal on gradebook access into account when planning the development of the educational service for 2027.
