TikTok has introduced the “Must Eat” feature — a community-driven restaurant guide for the US, compiled from more than 40 million posts and comments. The launch begins in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco; individual venues can be booked through OpenTable. This puts the platform in direct competition with Yelp and Google Maps.
