Ukraine's Ambassador to the Vatican called Russia a 'predominantly Muslim country'
Andriy Yurash said in an interview with Apostrophe that, according to him, active Orthodox believers in Russia number no more than 1.5–2%, while there are more Muslims. A survey by St Tikhon's Orthodox Humanitarian University, reported by Vedomosti, gives different figures: 65% Orthodox and 9% Muslim.
